Developing Innovative Signage for a Historical Botanical Landmark
Royal Botanic Gardens Kew
After a rigorous NEUPC tendering process, Wood and Wood were chosen to design, produce, and install new signage and display frames as part of the five-year restoration of the grade 1 listed Temperate House in Kew Gardens.
The project saw the creation of striking white concrete entrance obelisks with screen-printed plaques, and internal interpretation and hero plant frames made from shot-peened stainless steel with Corian panels. The impressive results even caught the attention of Sir David Attenborough during his opening night speech.
