Marks & Spencer
After a vigorous vetting procedure Marks & Spencer appointed Wood&Wood as an approved sign supplier for their store refurbishment programme.
Working at locations such as Horsham, Redhill and Bishops Stortford, the refurbishment involved refreshing the M&S brand using “M&S” in conjunction with the more traditional Marks & Spencer logo. Wood&Wood ensured that the integrity of the brand was maintained across a range of medium from fascia signage through to car parking and collection points.
Working with the main contractors selected for each site, Wood &Wood carried out detailed site surveys to understand the requirement for each store and ensure the signs were manufactured accurately. A combination of polyester powder coated aluminium fascia panels and descaled stainless steel letters were produced to provide consistency across the full range of signs. The signs are illuminated using LED technology thus reducing energy consumption and helping Marks & Spencer reduce their carbon footprint.
Wood&Wood carried out the installation, working in tandem with the Main Contractors schedule of works to ensure the clients’ timescales were met.
