London School of Economics

London School of Ecomonics (LSE) is a prestigious international University with staff and students from around the globe. Located in the heart of London it has revised its building and room identities to improve access around the site. Wood & Wood are pleased to be part of this education sign programme after winning the initial tender to supply the external and internal signage.

The external wayfinding is a contemporary design which is empathetic to the buildings it sits on. These include directional corner signs and building signs complete with location maps.  As there are multiple buildings across the site the whole programme will take 3/ 5 years to implement.

Accessibility is important across the campus and in addition to simplifying the building wayfinding the internal signs are tactile and in Braille.
