Leicester College

When Leicester College underwent a major refurbishment of its key sites it also updated its signage. Wood&Wood were proud to be appointed for this project.

 The education sign scheme involved external high-level building signage featuring the College’s distinctive logo, name and strap line, “learning for success”. Manufactured with an acrylic face and stainless steel rim with blue translucent vinyl, the signs were fitted onto a range of materials including glass. Leicester College has been awarded the Green Gown for carbon reduction so high efficiency LED illumination was the natural choice. Wall mounted totems and department signs also feature as part of the scheme, acting as destination signs.

 The logo is also replicated internally on glass panels in the entrance areas and curved reception signs were manufactured and installed in key departments such as Performing Arts.

 With over 28,000 learners, Leicester is one of the largest colleges in the Country.
